WHAT YOU CAN MOVE ##

• End-to-end Data Pipelines: You design and develop scalable data flows throughout the entire chain - from connecting various sources to making them available for analytical and operational use cases.
• Modern Data Stack: You use tools like dbt, Airflow, Dagster, Fivetran or Matillion to implement highly efficient ELT/ETL processes on cutting-edge cloud platforms (e.g. Snowflake, Databricks or Microsoft Fabric).
• Architecture & Design: You accompany our clients in choosing the right architecture - whether it be Data Lakehouse, Data Mesh or a classic cloud DWH.
• Software Excellence: You rely on containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and automated CI/CD pipelines to make analytical platforms stable and maintainable.
• Innovation: You observe trends in Data Engineering and evaluate how new technologies (e.g. Iceberg, Polaris, generative AI integrations) can create value for our clients.
• AI Competence: You use AI tools in your field with confidence, evaluate results critically, and help clients as well as adessi to exploit the potential of AI.
• In addition to your project activity, you contribute to the community as a speaker, author, and social moderator. You also participate significantly in defining our service portfolio, i.e., the creation of our solution modules and the development of the Data Driven Company.
• In collaboration with the adesso sales teams, you intervene as a presales consultant and support project acquisition for the Data Driven Company.

HOW YOU SUCCEED ##

• Education: Degree in computer science, business informatics, statistics, mathematics or in another analytical discipline.
• Tech-Stack Expertise: You have solid experience with at least one major cloud data platform (ideally Snowflake, Databricks or MS Fabric) and master SQL as well as Python at an advanced level.
• Tool Expertise: You have experience with dbt or another modern data processing tool. Furthermore, you have already worked with a data integration tool such as Fivetran.
• Modeling & Concepts: Terms like Data Vault 2.0, Star-Schema and Medallion architecture are not foreign to you, but tools for solving complex data problems.
• Certifications: You already possess certifications (e.g. SnowPro Core, Databricks Certified Data Engineer, cloud provider certifications) or have the ambition to obtain them with our support.
• Languages: Very good knowledge of German and good in English; French is an asset.
• Flexibility: You are ready to travel according to projects and like to work in agile teams.
