Banquet Staff (m/f/d) 100 %, Region St. Gallen

Introduction

On behalf of our client, we are recruiting an experienced banquet staff member (m/f/d) for an established hotel and gastronomy business in the St. Gallen region. We are looking for an independent personality who accompanies events from preparation to operational implementation.

Tasks

• You take over the operational preparation and execution of banquets, seminars and events
• You implement Function Sheets independently and ensure that all specifications for the respective event are prepared
• You prepare event rooms and take care of the complete setup and dismantling
• You ensure that rooms, furniture, material and service equipment are ready on time
• You manage the events operationally and ensure professional processes on site
• You independently coordinate the different requirements of the respective events
• You work closely with the internal departments
• You take responsibility for your area and maintain an overview even with multiple requirements
• You support other operational areas of the business if required

Profile

• Professional experience in gastronomy, hotel management, or in the banquet or event sector
• Experience with banquets, events or Function Sheets is an advantage
• You enjoy working independently and taking responsibility
• You have good organizational skills and can prepare events with foresight
• You are physically resilient and actively help with the setup and dismantling
• You present yourself professionally and neatly to guests
• You work reliably, in a structured and solution-oriented manner
• Good German language skills are required
• You bring flexibility regarding working hours

Benefits

• Permanent full-time position with a workload of 100 %
• Entry immediately or by arrangement
• Generally continuous working hours without a room hour; in exceptional cases, split shifts may occur
• Assignments predominantly during the week, which means weekends are often free
• Gross salary between CHF 4'500 and CHF 4'800 x 13, depending on experience and qualification
• No meal deduction
• Drinks for CHF 1.20 per working day
