To learn more, visit www.givaudan.com Industrial Automation Project Engineer (m/f) # For our production site in Dübendorf, we are looking for a committed person as an Industrial Automation Project Engineer (m/f) starting now. In this exciting position, you will support the existing engineering team. You will bring your in-depth expertise to a large ongoing project in the fields of automation, electricity, process safety and more generally IT/OT directly on site and take responsibility for a central part of the project from the detailed design phase. You will work in an environment close to production at the Dübendorf site and report directly to the Site Engineering Manager. Tasks & responsibilities of the Automation project • MSRL & automation technology: creation, revision and extension of MSRL lists, functional descriptions as well as Cause & Effect diagrams • Process safety: implementation and monitoring of process risk analyses as well as the integration of Safety Integrity Levels (SIL) and Performance Levels (PL). • Process engineering: management of regulation issues during the selection and commissioning of various instruments and valves. • Understanding and extension of process flow diagrams / P&ID. • Plant construction: coordination of external trades and technical challenge of solutions proposed by specialized planners in the fields of automation and electricity. • Assembly & commissioning: planning and direction of on-site activities, coordination of assembly and support/coordination/implementation of the commissioning of process installations. Electricity • Coordination and supervision of internal and external trades • Reading and interpretation of electrical diagrams • Instrumentation & Field Engineering: questioning the instrumentation selected by the specialized planner and team development of the most optimal solution for each application IT/OT • Ensure compliance with Givaudan's global IT/OT standards in the ongoing project • Development and execution of an automation concept taking into account all internal and legal requirements as well as all stakeholders. • Support the commissioning of measuring and control instruments in the process environment. Your professional profile • University degree (Uni/FH) in automation, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, mechatronics or equivalent. Knowledge in process engineering or industrial installations is an advantage. • Professional experience: at least 5 years of experience as an automation project engineer in industrial plant construction / project engineer / field engineer (preferably in the food, chemical or pharmaceutical industry). • Automation & safety: proven experience in the creation/extension of MSRL lists, selection of instruments as well as management of process safety data (SIL, Performance Level). • Software: ideally experience with Siemens TIA Portal, WinCC, Simatic S7. Good knowledge of Autodesk AutoCAD (2D & P&ID) is a plus. Assured mastery of MS Office. • Working method: autonomous, structured and goal-oriented in the management of parallel project phases. • Languages: German and English orally and in writing. • Process engineering: ideally already experience in the field of spray drying.
