The contribution you can make

• Produce products such as service planning and the posting of military service call-ups
• Ensure optimal use of the Operations Command infrastructure and plan, verify and evaluate the occupation of real estate
• Provide support during the development of readiness criteria at the army level, coordinate their implementation within the Operations Command and conduct feasibility studies in the field of readiness
• Constantly manage the situational picture concerning the infrastructure in your area and guarantee its timely development
• Draft positions and process requests coming from military and civilian circles regarding infrastructure and service planning at the Operations Command

What distinguishes you

• Higher education in a technical or commercial field with 2-3 years of relevant professional experience for the function
• Experience in project management and/or project collaboration
• Excellent IT knowledge, of Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Strong organizational and negotiation skills, excellent drafting skills and an autonomous, responsible and service-oriented way of working
• Complete training as a senior officer or company commander and good knowledge of a second official language

The Operations Command (Cdo Op) is responsible for all operations and all military deployments of the Swiss Army. It includes, among others, the Air Force, the Land Forces, the four territorial divisions, the SWISSINT competence center, the special forces command and the military police. Approximately 40 percent of the nearly 2500 employees are civilian employees: from engineers to aircraft mechanics to analysts.

The Swiss Army employs over 9000 employees within the framework of four military professions and approximately 200 civilian professions, in 110 locations throughout the national territory. Furthermore, it provides for new recruits, training apprentices in over 30 professions.
