• 14 August 2026 • 100% • Indefinite duration • Bern The Conférence des directeurs cantonaux de l-agriculture (LDK) promotes cooperation between the cantons as well as between the cantons and the Confederation, mainly in the fields of agricultural policy, the promotion of productive peasant agriculture and the preservation of cultivated land. The LDK maintains opinion-forming and aims for common positions. For issues likely to obtain a majority, the LDK ensures, through its bodies, an effective representation of interests at the federal level and with other conferences of directors. This work is coordinated and ensured by the general secretariat of the LDK. It is located in the Maison des cantons, at Speichergasse 6, in the city of Bern. Your area of responsibility • Strategic and operational implementation of the conference objectives • Management of the general secretariat • Collaboration in clear structures with the bodies of the conference as well as with partners in the various political fields • Marked contact with political officials, cantonal and federal bodies, administrations, associations and other institutions. • Preparation of basic documents, memoranda as well as opinions What we expect from you • University degree (Master) or other higher education • A few years of professional experience, preferably in agricultural administration • Marked interest in agricultural policy issues and agriculture-related issues as well as the willingness to deepen this knowledge. • Resilient and loyal personality with personal initiative • Proven writing skills and team spirit • Developed communicative skills, high social competence, familiarity with modern methods of direction and management, good knowledge of business management as well as a confident presentation. • Perfect mastery of a national language as well as excellent knowledge of a second national language Have we aroused your interest?
