On behalf of the State of Valais, we are looking for a

Technical Collaborator Fr/Ger 80-100% Fixed-term contract (M/F/D)

Responsibilities

• Analyze and instruct technical files related to construction and spatial planning projects
• Evaluate the compliance of projects with respect to applicable legislation and regulations
• Prepare recommendations, technical reports and draft decisions necessary for the processing of files
• Ensure the administrative and technical follow-up of files throughout their processing cycle
• Conduct site visits and monitor the proper application of issued authorizations
• Support and advise various partners on technical and regulatory aspects
• Participate in coordination meetings and contribute to exchanges between the various authorities concerned
• Collaborate in the development of a harmonious territory by ensuring compliance with current standards and procedures

Profile

• Hold a degree as an Architect EPF/HES, a Federal Diploma as a Works Director (building) or a CFC as an architectural draftsman; a training certificate in building safety is an asset
• Proven experience in processing building permit files, architecture, works management or site supervision
• Possess solid knowledge of the legislation applicable to construction outside building zones as well as an excellent ability to analyze technical files
• Be able to accurately check and interpret construction and execution plans
• Master French perfectly (C2 level) and possess good knowledge of German (minimum B1)
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills and real ease in collaborating with various interlocutors
• Master standard IT tools, notably Microsoft Office; knowledge of SAP is an asset
• Demonstrate autonomy, rigor, organization and a solution-oriented approach
