• Perform maintenance work on equipment and systems within the technical workshop (generator sets for electricity production, lighting systems, air conditioning systems, container systems, rescue equipment, subsistence systems)
• Carry out technical tasks in SAP independently and punctually
• Provide technical advice and assistance to the troops in a customer-oriented manner during the collection and return of material and during service
• Guarantee the operation of the metal cleaning plant
• Ensure the return of kitchen and subsistence material in your capacity as responsible person
• Assume responsibility for the maintenance work of the subsistence systems as well as for the operational readiness of the metal cleaning plant

What distinguishes you

• Completed vocational training as an engine equipment mechanic, automotive mechanic, agricultural machinery mechanic AFC or similar professions
• Several years of technical professional experience
• Ability to work independently and quickly as well as good organizational skills
• Good ability to assimilate technical connections and analytical skills
• Customer orientation in the provision of services
• Flexibility, availability to work in different locations

The Swiss Army Logistics Base (BLEs) is at the disposal of the troops. It provides all logistical services for the Swiss Army and, with its approximately 3500 employees and 12000 militia soldiers, manages the material, systems, and infrastructure of the Swiss Army. In the workshop or in the office, indoors or outdoors: BLEs offers a wide range of jobs throughout Switzerland and for all tastes.

The Swiss Army employs over 9000 employees within the framework of four military professions and approximately 200 civil professions, in 110 locations throughout the national territory. Furthermore, it provides for new recruits, training apprentices in over 30 professions.
