Bern, Switzerland (and home office) | 80-100%The contribution you can make * Assume responsibility for the strategy, profitability and sustainable development of the assigned real estate portfolio and take care of the long-term management of the real estate assets * Collaborate on the real estate strategy of the Federal Civil Administration, define the strategic requirements of projects and develop possible sustainable solutions suitable to the needs * Plan and manage the credits related to the projects of a certain portfolio, evaluate credit applications, ensure financing and initiate strategic projects as well as the maintenance program * Provide advice in German and French to departments and offices on strategic issues, evaluate their needs, conduct negotiations and create decision-making bases for the competent bodies * Communicate the decisions of the UFCL and ensure their concrete implementation as well as represent, at a strategic level, the interests of the UFCL with internal and external partners What distinguishes you * University degree or equivalent higher education, preferably in the fields of real estate management, architecture, construction, business administration or a related discipline * Several years of experience in the strategic management of real estate, portfolios and projects as well as proven experience in conducting complex projects and collaborating with various stakeholder groups * Excellent analytical and conceptual skills, strong skills in the economic-business sector and the ability to quickly understand connections and design sustainable solutions * Confident and persuasive attitude, excellent consulting skills as well as the ability to bring together different interests and to confidently support certain decisions even in complex situations * Excellent knowledge of two official languages; knowledge of a third official language is a preferential qualification In summary In this function you will play a central role in the strategic development of a complex real estate portfolio of the Federal Civil Administration.
