Social Worker in Child Protection (60 - 80 %)

The Social Department includes an assessment service, the Social Service for Children and Youth, the Social Service for Adults, the Central Services, the Job Integration Office, the Social Audit Office, and the Health Promotion Office. For the Social Service for Children and Youth, we are looking for, starting from 1 November 2026 or by arrangement, a Social Worker in Child Protection (60 - 80 %) ## Your tasks ### • Assessments of children and adolescents as well as disputed paternities on behalf of the Child and Adult Protection Authority (KESB) • Management of legal guardianships for children and adolescents as well as for paternity and maintenance claims on behalf of the KESB • General administrative work You bring ### • Degree in Social Work (University of Applied Sciences or University) • Proven professional experience in child protection • Knowledge of subsidiarity and social insurance issues • Good organizational skills and IT skills • Independent, reliable, resilient and team-oriented personality • Proficient German, affinity for writing reports • Driver's license category B What awaits you ### • Responsible and varied field of work • Cooperation with a qualified and dedicated team and with assigned administrative support • Independent work with freedom of design • Modern employment conditions with the possibility of home office • Well-developed IT with digital file management in KLIB • Attractive and central place of work as well as subscriptions (beach and river baths, ice rink) and discounts (Reka-Checks and Stadtgärtnerei) • Care allowance in addition to the family allowance
