We are currently looking for a:

• Logistics Manager - ORPC JNV (m/f)

100% position - CDI

Civil protection contributes to the protection of the population and the support of partners in the event of a disaster or emergency situation. Within the ORPC JNV, you will lead the logistics area while participating concretely in the maintenance of material, vehicles and in the support of training, exercises and engagements.

Your tasks:

• Organize, plan and coordinate the logistics area and the persons assigned to it.
• Perform routine maintenance, checks and repairs of material and equipment, then ensure their preparation and restoration.
• Prepare and distribute material; ensure the good condition of vehicles, inventories and the replenishment of stocks.
• Plan needs and participate in the field in the support of courses, exercises and engagements.
• Prepare offers, acquisitions and orders, follow repairs and the logistics budget.
• Supervise militiamen, provide logistics instruction and participate in the on-call service.

Desired profile:

• Professional training in logistics, in a technical field or experience deemed equivalent.
• Practical experience in maintenance, upkeep or logistics; experience in team leadership, planning or project management is an asset.
• Knowledge in management of material, vehicles, stocks and supplies.
• Good mastery of IT tools and ability to transmit knowledge.
• PCi logistics management training or willingness to follow the necessary training.

• Ability to identify problems and propose concrete solutions.
• Taste for teamwork and ease in collaborating with militiamen and partners.

Special conditions:

• Be of Swiss / EU / EFTA nationality or permit C.
• Availability for on-call service and occasional engagements outside regular hours.
• Be domiciled at a maximum of 45 minutes from the workplace (Orbe).
• Permit B required; categories C1 or D1 and authorizations for machinery are an asset.
