Our client, a public hospital in the Bern area, is developing its procurement into a strategically oriented, central unit. The department is located within the Supply Chain Services and is responsible for the professional management of all procurement matters of the hospital operations. For this future-oriented development, the health center is looking for an experienced leader who will actively realign procurement and modernize it together with the team.

Your tasks

• Take over functional and personnel leadership of the procurement team
• Ensure demand-oriented and sustainable procurement for hospital operations
• Initiate and manage procurement projects under public procurement law
• Further develop strategic category management and implement sourcing strategies

Your profile

• Leadership experience in strategic procurement and team management required
• Sound knowledge of public procurement law and category management
• Experience in negotiation management and development of procurement strategies
• Bilingualism in German/French as well as strong communication and social skills
