Social Worker # Graubünden Social Service Office | 80-100 % | Coira ## On behalf of the municipalities, the Cantonal Social Service Office fulfills the task of providing social and addiction-related assistance to people and supports the latter in accessing economic social assistance. To this end, it manages eight regional social services in the regions of the Canton. The Social Service for addiction issues is a specialized clinic within the Coira/Plessur/Imboden regional social service. The Coira/Plessur/Imboden regional social service is responsible for ten municipalities with a user base of 67,000 people. Social counseling, addiction assistance, and financial support (gr.ch) For Coira, we are looking for a social worker starting from 1 December 2026 or a date to be agreed upon. Tasks • Solution-oriented and resource-oriented social counseling addressed to individuals and families • Guaranteeing access to social insurance benefits as well as economic social assistance • Counseling and financial support for persons with S protection status from Ukraine hosted in individual accommodation • Counseling regarding linguistic, professional, and social integration for provisionally admitted foreigners • Collaboration with social authorities and specialized services • Other varied, interesting, and responsibility-laden activities What we expect from you • Completed training as a social worker BSc/SUP or equivalent training • Aptitude for working with people of different social backgrounds and/or cultural origins • High counseling skills as well as solid specific knowledge of social assistance law in the social insurance sector • Sociability, ability to sustain intense working rhythms, predisposition for teamwork, good communication, organizational, and administrative skills • Ideally, good knowledge of foreign languages • Autonomous and solution-oriented working method We look forward to receiving your online application and will be pleased to meet you.
