Finance Manager Operations 80% - 100% (m/f/d)

Do you want to further develop your experience in production controlling and actively help shape the economic development of a manufacturing company in the role of a "Mini CFO"? As Finance Manager Operations, you will take on a central role in the financial management of our production sites and will be an important contact person for plant management and the COO.

With immediate effect or by arrangement, we are looking for the following to strengthen our team:

Finance Manager Operations 80% - 100% (m/f/d)

Work location: Oberburg BE | regular presence in Benken SG, at least 2 days every two weeks

Your challenge

You will take on a central role in the financial management of our two production sites with a focus on Oberburg and support the plant managers and the COO with business management questions.

• Economic assessment of investments, infrastructure, contracts and payment terms with the subsequent identification and monitoring of cost and efficiency potentials together with the plant manager and COO
• Ensuring transparent site management as well as highlighting financial risks and need for action
• Maintenance, updating and plausibility checking of standard costs including analysis of material, quantity, price, consumption and efficiency variances
• Preparation and coordination of budget, forecast and monthly reporting for Oberburg and Benken
• Cooperation with production, purchasing, supply chain, technology and the central finance team. You report to the Head of Controlling in Benken/SG.

Your qualifications

• Higher business administration education HF/FH with a focus on Finance or Controlling
• Several years of professional experience in production controlling of a manufacturing company in the food industry, ideally in a production environment with high quantities.
• Very good knowledge of cost and standard costing as well as mandatory experience in the maintenance, updating and analysis of standard costs.
• Very good ERP knowledge (Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central), Excel and BI knowledge.
