This department ensures the care of female and male patients, both electively and in emergencies. It represents a center of excellence, not only Swiss, but also European in several fields and in several of its surgical specialties. Assistant or Assistant in community nursing and health - surgery department - 80% to 90% As part of your function, you contribute, under nursing responsibility and in collaboration with the interprofessional team, to the global care of adult patients hospitalized in cardiovascular, thoracic and plastic surgery, and visceral surgery, in an acute care context. You ensure basic and delegated medico-technical care, participate in supporting female and male patients in activities of daily living, and actively contribute to their comfort, safety and well-being during their hospitalization. You intervene with a patient population in the pre- and post-operative period requiring rigorous care, a great capacity for adaptation and constant clinical vigilance. You participate in the monitoring of the general state of female and male patients, the prevention of post-operative complications as well as early mobilization, in close collaboration with the care teams. You also support patients and their relatives in understanding care measures, particularly in connection with functional recovery, pain and return home. Thanks to your sense of organization, your team spirit and your interpersonal skills, you collaborate closely with the different health professionals to ensure the continuity and quality of care. You also contribute to the welcome and integration of new female and male employees as well as the supervision of persons in training. Qualifications Having obtained the CFC as assistant or assistant in community nursing and health, you hold your valid right of practice in the canton of Geneva. Experience in a surgery or acute care service is an asset. You are a reactive, organized person, with good management of stress and priorities, you know how to analyze clinical situations and adapt to the context as well as the unforeseen events inherent to the activity of a care unit. Your ability to work collaboratively allows you to work hand in hand with a care team composed of multi-professional health workers. You ensure with precision and rigor the transmission of information within multidisciplinary teams. You participate in the supervision and clinical teaching of new nursing staff and other health professionals. You have an excellent command of the French language both orally and in writing.
