What you can achieve • Participate in ICT projects as a Software Engineer for command and control information systems • Design, develop and maintain software applications, plugins and interfaces • Advise the customer on the definition of software requirements, taking software architecture into account • Create mockups, models for data, functions and/or objects as well as developing prototypes • Responsible for the analysis and rectification of software errors in productive applications • Assist in the execution of integration and acceptance tests What you bring with you • University degree in computer science or vocational training as an Informatiker/in EFZ or lateral entrant with further training in computer science • Several years of professional experience as a Software Engineer • Very good knowledge of .NET Framework (C\#), Visual Studio (entire technology stack) as well as in SCRUM • Good knowledge of MS technologies (Client/Server, Azure DevOps) and network knowledge as well as in Java (entire technology stack) is an advantage • Team player with initiative, conscientious way of working and enjoyment in co-shaping • Willingness to work closely with System Engineers in the context of the DevSecOps environment • Experience with virtualization and container technologies is an advantage • Very good German skills; English skills (Level B2) are an advantage • Military career as a higher non-commissioned officer or officer is an advantage Salary and benefits Around 3000 employees from RUAG and RUAG Real Estate make a significant contribution to the security of Switzerland every day.
