Import Clerk, 100 % (m/f)

Your main tasks include:

• Forwarding processing and notification of import shipments
• Obtaining customs clearance orders and instructions
• Checking the accompanying customs documents
• Creation of delivery notes
• Timely recording and monitoring of delivery data in the system
• Creation of invoices and cash on delivery
• Processing of complaints
• Document handling

Requirement profile:

You have a basic commercial training in the forwarding industry and bring professional experience in the field of truck import. Good PC and MS Office knowledge as well as very good linguistic expression in German and good language skills in English are also mandatory, French and/or Italian language skills are an advantage. You are a flexible and conscientious personality and have a precise and careful way of working. Likewise, you integrate actively into a team and maintain an overview even in hectic moments, work independently and are characterized by your reliability.

This position is also suitable for apprentices who, following their commercial forwarding apprenticeship, wish to bring and deepen their know-how in the exciting world of land transport.

You enjoy being able to work successfully in an international and dynamic company and appreciate a diverse and demanding area of responsibility.

For this varied and demanding position, you preferably have a basic commercial training in forwarding as well as several years of practical experience in a comparable function. Likewise, you have good PC user skills and very good language skills in German, French and English. You approach your tasks in a goal-oriented manner, with great commitment and enthusiasm and do not lose track even in hectic times. Your strong negotiation skills as well as your communication and teamwork skills round off your profile.
