Timber Construction Foreman (m/f/d) 80–100%

For our client, an established company in the field of timber construction in the Winterthur region, we are looking for an experienced timber construction foreman (m/f/d) immediately or by arrangement.

Tasks

In this responsible function, you will manage the daily operations on the construction site and coordinate the deployment of employees. You ensure that the work is carried out on schedule, with quality awareness, and in accordance with the applicable safety regulations. In doing so, you take on the technical leadership of the assembly team, read and interpret construction plans, and maintain an overview of materials and construction progress. In close cooperation with the construction management and other project participants, you contribute significantly to the smooth running of the timber construction projects.

Requirements

Our client expects a completed vocational qualification as a carpenter or a comparable training in timber construction, as well as further training as a foreman or corresponding professional experience in a leading function on the construction site. You possess sound knowledge of the relevant standards and regulations in timber construction and bring strong technical understanding. Strong communication skills, organizational talent, and a confident demeanor towards employees and clients characterize you. Good German skills in speaking and writing are required.
