The contribution you can make

• Assume responsibility for the decommissioning of army material on a procedural level according to internal directives and criteria
• Within the scope of quality assurance, examine decommissioning requests on a content level
• Manage the portfolio of assigned tasks autonomously and proactively, from the initial phase to the formal conclusion
• Enforce and ensure systematic compliance with deadlines, quantities, and conditions defined towards our partners
• Coordinate logistical arrangements and the allocation of material for cultural goods, the gift fund, and points of sale or disposal
• Create transfer and liquidation tasks and ensure technical finalization in SAP

What distinguishes you

• Complete basic training in the commercial or logistics field with several years of professional experience relevant to the function
• Higher vocational training with a focus on logistics or business administration is an advantage
• Excellent proficiency in SAP and MS Office computer systems
• High sense of responsibility, stress resistance, and the ability to think in a systemic and analytical way
• Team spirit, communication skills combined with assertiveness, and deep understanding of processes
• Written and oral knowledge of a second official language

The Swiss Army Logistics Base (BLEs) is at the disposal of the troops. It provides all logistical services for the Swiss Army and, with its approximately 3500 employees and 12000 militia soldiers, manages the material, systems, and infrastructure of the Swiss Army.
