Senior Project Manager Railway Signaling Technology

In this role, you will take on the technical and commercial management of complex integration projects for ETCS on-board systems in the railway sector. You are responsible for the entire project lifecycle from the handover from sales until the end of the warranty period.

Tasks

• Technical and commercial management of complex ETCS integration projects
• Responsibility for deadlines, budget, quality, safety and customer satisfaction
• Definition of execution strategies and coordination of all project activities
• Management of customers, suppliers, partners and internal stakeholders
• Monitoring of financial project performance including forecasting
• Leadership and development of cross-functional project teams
• Coaching of project managers and further development of methods and processes

Profile

• University degree in engineering (mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics, industrial engineering or similar)
• Extensive experience in project or program management in complex technical or railway environments
• Proven experience in managing multidisciplinary projects with responsibility for scope, deadlines, budget and quality
• Sound knowledge of railway standards and regulations (e.g., TSI CCS, UNISIG, CENELEC)
• Experience with ETCS on-board systems and railway signaling technology is an advantage
• Very good MS Office and MS Project skills
• Business fluent English, German and other languages are an advantage
