Versatile Operations Agent at 100 % Roads Department – Municipal Infrastructures and Public Spaces The Municipality of Vucherens is looking for a Versatile Operations Agent at 100 % to join its technical team. In a small structure, you will contribute to the maintenance of buildings, public spaces and municipal infrastructures, in a varied function requiring versatility, autonomy and a sense of service. Your main missions Maintenance and upkeep of municipal buildings and infrastructures Ensure the maintenance, upkeep and small repairs of municipal buildings, their exteriors, sports facilities as well as operating equipment; Ensure services related to the rental of municipal rooms and spaces. Roads, cleanliness and waste management Ensure the general maintenance of the Commune, the cleanliness and beautification of public spaces (flowers and decorations); Ensure the maintenance and supervision of the municipal waste collection center, notably the Saturday duty according to a rotation, as well as the collection and evacuation of municipal waste. Support for municipal activities Participate in the organization of municipal events (setup, logistical support and restoration of sites); Participate in municipal services related to funeral services; Provide occasional support to other departments, notably in the context of forestry maintenance work; Assist the supervisor of the drinking water network. Specifics of the position Participation in the winter on-call service according to a rotation, requiring interventions outside of usual hours in case of snow or ice (snow removal, salting and securing municipal access); Occasional interventions outside of usual hours, notably for the inspection of installations during room rentals. Your profile CFC as an Operations Agent (road or concierge option), technical/building CFC or proven practical experience in a similar field; Versatile, reliable and organized person, with a good sense of responsibility; Ability to work autonomously and to take initiative; Sense of service, good contact with the population and team spirit; Good physical condition and interest in varied outdoor work; Category B driving license indispensable; handling machinery license, an asset; Residence in the Commune or in the immediate vicinity in order to ensure the winter service and urgent interventions; Good command of written and spoken French; Ease with usual office tools; Valid work permit in Switzerland.
