Intercultural Family Companion (m/f/d) on an hourly basis

MSPF GmbH (migrationssensitive sozialpädagogische Familienbegleitung) supports families in challenging life situations. To expand our team in the cantons of Luzern and Zug, we are looking for, immediately or by arrangement: Intercultural Family Companion (m/f/d) on an hourly basis (Native language Arabic, Kurdish, Turkish, Russian or Ukrainian) You support families with a migration background directly in everyday life, strengthen their resources, and facilitate integration in Switzerland. Your tasks • Ensuring outreach support and counseling in the family environment. • Supporting parents in parenting and integration matters. • Accompanying to official, school, and medical appointments including performing the role of mediator. • Prevention and clarification of intercultural misunderstandings. • Professional documentation of the support process and reporting in German. • Active participation in case discussions and supervisions. Your profile • Native language Arabic, Kurdish, Turkish, Russian or Ukrainian as well as proficient German in speaking and writing. • Completed training in Social Work, Social Pedagogy or a comparable qualification with proven experience in family work. • Pronounced empathy paired with a high ability for professional boundary setting. • In-depth knowledge of the Swiss education and social systems as well as the specific cultural backgrounds of the clientele. • Local and temporal flexibility in the cantons of Luzern and Zug Our offer • A versatile, independent and very meaningful task. • A fair and attractive remuneration on an hourly basis. • Great flexibility in the scheduling of your assignments. • An appreciative working atmosphere, careful induction as well as professional support from our open, interdisciplinary team. • Regular supervisions as well as exciting opportunities for internal further training.
