Project Control Engineer – Power Conversion

You plan and execute control engineering tasks for high-power electronic converter projects, combining hardware, software and on-site commissioning work.

Tasks

• Plan and execute control engineering aspects of projects, including hardware and software concepts
• Coordinate technical interfaces between customers, sub-suppliers, and internal teams
• Define and evaluate hardware interfaces, including electrical components and design reviews
• Develop and implement control software, including testing on real-time simulation platforms
• Perform commissioning, testing, and customer training on-site
• Provide technical support during project execution and after delivery
• Support the preparation of technical concepts and tender documentation

Profile

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Bachelor's or Master's
• Hands-on experience with MATLAB / Simulink is essential
• Strong knowledge of process control and software design
• Familiarity with industrial communication protocols is a plus
• Initial experience in testing, commissioning, or applied engineering is an advantage
• Willingness to travel globally for commissioning assignments, approx. 20%
• Fluency in English and German
