Data Engineer - Microsoft Fabric (F/H) 80 - 100% ### Within a chain of 103 pharmacies, you will join the BI & Data team to participate in the development, architecture, and governance of our analytical platform based on Microsoft Fabric. The heart of your role: ##### As a Data Engineer - Microsoft Fabric (f/h) 80 - 100% you will be responsible for: • the design, implementation, and continuous development of our modern data platform and our data architecture. • the development, integration, and optimization of scalable ETL/ELT pipelines for data coming from different source systems. • ensuring high data quality through automated validations, monitoring, as well as data governance and traceability concepts. • the administration and optimization of Lakehouses, SQL Analytics, and storage structures in terms of performance, scalability, and costs. • the definition and implementation of strategies for data integration, storage, and partitioning as well as for the entire data lifecycle. • the documentation of data flows, transformation logics, and metadata as well as the continuous maintenance and development of the data catalog. • ensuring data security, access concepts, and efficient use of platform resources. What makes your heart beat: ##### • You hold a degree in computer science, Data Engineering, or a comparable field, or you have equivalent professional experience. • You possess at least two to three years of practical experience in Data Engineering and you are passionate about modern data platforms and new technologies. • You have solid knowledge in PySpark/Python, SQL as well as in Microsoft Fabric (Lakehouse, Notebooks, Pipelines, and Dataflows) and you know modern data architectures. • Ideally, you have experience in the areas of data modeling, Delta Lake, REST APIs, Git, as well as data governance. • Knowledge of Power BI, particularly in creating semantic models, dashboards, and reports, is an asset. • You work independently, in a structured manner and with a great concern for quality, and you enjoy solving complex technical problems. • You communicate fluently in German and/or French. Technical English is an advantage.
