Warehouse Operational Services Employee

Background:

The service module Logistic Solutions Basel & Kaiseraugst offers business services, provides high-quality, cost-efficient offers, and recognizes trends early. Simple and uncomplicated access to the various services for all employees is a central concern. They meet different requirements with expertise and ensure operational relief, effective use of existing assets, and regulatory-compliant procedures.

Logistic Solutions takes care of goods and shipments that arrive on the premises, are stored and distributed here, or leave the site. As a Warehouse Operational Services Employee in Basel, you will be active in the operational processes in the logistics center Bau 41. The tasks include the processing of export orders, destructions, and portioning of various products.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the correct operational processing of processes (export / destruction / portioning) in compliance with compliance requirements (GMP, hazardous goods, etc.)
• Independent execution of destruction orders
• Independent execution of shipping and picking orders (export)
• Independent execution of portioning of educts and products
• Independent execution of bookings in various SAP systems and in BLS
• Preparing and checking documents for the cleaning of cabins, the portioning process, and the shipping and picking orders (export) according to GMP
• Assistance with maintenance work, identification, and rectification of malfunctions
• Proactive participation in process optimizations, quality improvements, and the revision of specification documents
• If required, cross-group support within Logistic Solutions
• Technical support during audits and inspections
• Maintaining contact with operations, purchasers, disposal companies, and workshops
• Compliance with safety regulations and GMP instructions
• Ensuring efficient and customer-oriented service delivery

Must Haves:

• Completed vocational training as a Logistiker EFZ or comparable
• Completed driving test for industrial trucks
• Very good PC knowledge (SAP, Office, and other user programs)
• 3 years of professional experience in logistics, preferably in the pharmaceutical sector
• Very good German skills in speaking and writing are required
• Good business understanding, service-oriented, and high flexibility
• High degree of structured and independent way of working
• High degree of customer orientation, professional and proactive handling of all stakeholders
• Structured, focused, and organized way of working, assertiveness, and motivated, working independently and resilient

Nice to Have:

• Training in the hazardous goods area
• English skills oral and written
• Experience in the GMP / GDP area
