Workshop Manager - Refrigeration Technician M/F

Are you a refrigeration technician by trade, with solid experience in mechanics, comfortable with diagnostics, and wish to evolve towards a position offering more autonomy and responsibility?

We are looking for a profile capable of combining technical expertise, versatility, and workshop organization.

Your role:

Within the workshop, you intervene directly on the vehicles while ensuring the coordination and monitoring of the different interventions.

In this capacity, you will notably be required to:

• Perform mechanical, refrigeration, electrical, and electronic diagnostics using diagnostic tools.
• Carry out maintenance, servicing, and repair work on the vehicles.
• Provide your expertise as a refrigeration technician for the diagnosis, maintenance, and repair of refrigeration equipment.
• Identify faults and determine the work and parts necessary for the restoration of the vehicles.
• Search for part references, establish needs, and place orders with suppliers.
• Monitor availability, lead times, and deliveries in order to limit vehicle downtime as much as possible.
• Distribute and prioritize work based on the degree of urgency, operational needs, and part availability.
• Ensure the follow-up of each intervention until the vehicle is made available again.
• Control the quality of the work performed and ensure compliance with procedures and safety rules.
• Ensure the administrative and technical follow-up of the activity using IT tools and workshop management software.
• Actively participate in the improvement of the organization and daily functioning of the workshop.

Your profile

• You are primarily a refrigeration technician by trade and justify solid technical experience. You also have good knowledge of automobile and/or commercial vehicle mechanics.
• You master fault diagnosis and are comfortable with environments combining mechanics, refrigeration, electricity, and electronics.
• * You have good IT knowledge and are comfortable with diagnostic tools, workshop management software, as well as the office tools necessary for activity monitoring.
• Autonomous, methodical, and reactive, you know how to organize priorities, anticipate needs, and find solutions when faced with unforeseen circumstances.
• Initial experience in team coordination or workshop organization constitutes an asset.
• You hold a valid driver's license.
