Commissioning Technician Type Test Rail Vehicles

You are responsible for the static and dynamic commissioning of rail vehicles and their subsystems within the framework of type tests.

Tasks

• Static and dynamic commissioning of vehicles and subsystems (networks, doors, HVAC, pneumatics)
• Supervision of test and type test runs with engineering, type test or customer
• Ensuring safe vehicle operation during tests and rectification of malfunctions
• Performance of hardware checks and download of vehicle-specific software
• Technical support during test setup, execution and dismantling
• Documentation and tracking of events and vehicle states

Profile

• Completed technical vocational training or studies in the field of electrical engineering or mechatronics
• Experience in the field of commissioning, vehicle testing or plant engineering is an advantage
• Structured and independent way of working with strong organizational skills
• Strong communication skills in German and English (at least level B2)
• International willingness to travel of 80 to 100 percent
• High sense of responsibility for technical safety and documentation
