At Station Lüthi of the Universitäres Psychiatrisches Zentrum Bern (UPZ), you care for people with mental illnesses. As a healthcare professional, you are an important reference person in daily ward life: with your presence in the milieu, your empathy and your professional skills, you contribute to providing security, promoting resources and actively supporting the recovery process. In doing so, you work in a committed interprofessional team that supports each other and takes responsibility together.

Your tasks

• You care for and accompany our patients in everyday life and support them professionally in their psychiatric treatment
• You carry out nursing and medical-technical activities independently within the scope of your competencies
• You observe changes in the well-being of the patients and actively contribute your observations to the treatment process
• Together with the interprofessional team, you work according to current nursing standards and make an important contribution to high-quality care
• You document your services carefully and support professional and safe treatment planning
• You actively contribute to the team and contribute to an appreciative, therapeutic atmosphere on the ward

Your profile

• You have a federal certificate of proficiency (eidgenössisches Fähigkeitszeugnis) as a Healthcare Professional (FaGe)
• Ideally, you already have experience in psychiatry or want to discover this exciting specialist field for yourself
• You encounter people with appreciation, patience and empathy and create trust - even in challenging situations
• You enjoy working independently as well as interprofessionally and take responsibility for your tasks
• You are open to new things and want to continuously develop professionally and personally
• You have very good German language skills in speaking and writing

The Universitäre Psychiatrische Zentrum Bern (UPZ) is, as a university clinic, the leading competence center for psychiatry and psychotherapy in the capital region. It ensures psychiatric care in the Canton of Bern along the entire chain of care, from early detection to outpatient, day-clinic and inpatient therapies to rehabilitation and forensics.
