Process Control Commissioning Engineer

To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Process Control Commissioning Engineer. In this role, you will ensure that our process plants are commissioned smoothly at the customer's site. From hook-up and commissioning to qualification, as well as service and after-sales assignments, you will accompany the entire plant lifecycle and make a decisive contribution to the project's success. Your main responsibilities are: * Execution of process control commissioning activities from ODT via hook-up (cold commissioning) to the commissioning and qualification of process plants * Execution of service, after-sales, and revamping assignments for customers domestically and abroad * Planning, execution, and documentation of functional, acceptance, and qualification tests according to applicable standards and project specifications * Ensuring compliance with standards, GMP requirements, and internal processes, as well as early reporting of deviations * Creation and maintenance of project-relevant commissioning and service documentation, as well as transparent reporting on progress, risks, and challenges * Active participation in the continuous improvement of processes, test procedures, and plant behavior through the contribution of practical experience and optimization suggestions Your profile: * Completed training as an automation technician/electrical engineer or an equivalent certificate of competency * Experience in the commissioning, qualification, or service of complex plants is an advantage * Very good understanding of PLC and SCADA systems as well as ODT, FAT, SAT, and qualification processes * Confident handling of electrical schematics, technical documentation, and relevant safety requirements * Experience in working on construction sites and in a direct customer environment * Solution-oriented personality with high practical orientation and a hands-on mentality * Team player with a high awareness of quality and safety * High willingness to travel for national and international projects (up to approx. 80% depending on the project) We offer: * Responsible, varied tasks with international contacts * Participation in international projects in the pharma, biotech, and food environments * Collaboration in an interdisciplinary, experienced team * Flat hierarchies, short decision-making paths, and open communication Ready for the next step?
