Our client, Swissfluid AG, develops, produces, and distributes plastic-lined valves and sampling systems worldwide for corrosive applications in chemistry, petrochemistry, pharma, mining, as well as the paper and pulp industry. They employ around 70 employees in Switzerland and, including their subsidiaries in the USA and China, a total of approx. 110 employees. Head of Operational Procurement 100% (m/f/d) Your tasks: Technical and personnel leadership of the procurement team with 3 employees, as well as their promotion and further development. Overall responsibility for procurement and ensuring an economical, efficient, and timely procurement process on national and international procurement markets (Europe and overseas). Ensuring material availability through close cooperation with AVOR, production, and other internal interfaces. Active operational participation in day-to-day business (approx. 70 - 80%) along the entire procurement process, from order triggering through the checking of order confirmations to invoice processing. Monitoring of delivery dates as well as coordination and organization of national and international transports. Responsibility for the checking of material certificates, import and customs documents, as well as invoice control. Maintenance and further development of supplier and material master data in the ERP system. Responsibility for procurement KPIs, ensuring budget compliance, and identification of cost optimizations. Leading and participating in cross-departmental projects as well as continuous optimization of procurement processes. Your profile: Completed basic technical training with further training in the field of procurement, supply chain management, or business administration. Several years of professional experience in the operational procurement of a manufacturing industrial company. Several years of leadership experience as well as enjoyment in the development and promotion of employees. Negotiation skills, entrepreneurial thinking, and a pronounced awareness of quality and costs. Independent, structured, and solution-oriented way of working. High social competence as well as a respectful and appreciative leadership style. Hands-on mentality as well as the willingness to actively take responsibility and participate operationally in an SME. Very good German and English skills in spoken and written form (at least level B2). Confident handling of MS Office as well as ERP systems; knowledge of SelectLine is an advantage.
