What you will do ## • You will care for our pediatric surgical patients independently and in close cooperation with our interdisciplinary team • You will increasingly take on operative responsibility independently according to your level of training and experience and continuously develop your operative spectrum • You will conduct an independent pediatric surgical outpatient clinic for referrals and follow-up examinations • You will participate in the senior physician emergency and on-call service and ensure continuous care for our patients • You will engage in the structured training and further education of resident physicians and students • You will actively participate in the professional and structural development of pediatric surgery • The development and assumption of your own clinical, operative, scientific or training-related focal points is expressly desired What characterizes you ## • You hold the specialist title in pediatric surgery or, with corresponding clinical and operative qualifications, are close to obtaining it • You have a solid clinical and operative basis and want to specifically develop your pediatric surgical spectrum • You have a special interest in minimally invasive pediatric surgery and modern operative procedures • You want to take on operative responsibility and at the same time develop your own skills in a structured manner • You bring enjoyment to training and further education and want to engage both in your own professional development and increasingly in the training of younger colleagues • Interest in scientific work, clinical research and/or academic development is expressly desired • You enjoy working in a team and value close interdisciplinary cooperation, especially with pediatrics, neonatology, anesthesia, radiology and other surgical specialties • You can communicate orally in German and French and master one of the two languages securely in speaking and writing What you will benefit from ## • You are joining us at a time when you can actively help shape the future direction of our pediatric surgery • Structured operative further training with the gradual assumption of increasing personal responsibility is an essential part of medical professional development for us • A special focus of future clinical development lies on minimally invasive pediatric surgery.
