Your tasks Together with the payroll and HR team, you ensure the timely and correct processing of the monthly payroll run, including withholding tax, for around 270 employees. You support year-end activities, payroll reconciliations, and closing processes. Together with your team colleagues, you manage the administrative processes surrounding social insurance and personnel changes. As part of the HR team, you advise employees and managers on questions regarding payroll, wages, and social insurance. You work closely with authorities, insurance companies, and external partners and contribute to professional exchange. You coordinate HR-relevant accounts with financial accounting and ensure the correct recording of all wage and social insurance contributions. You support the HR team in operational and administrative HR topics. You actively participate in HR projects and contribute your ideas to the digitalization and optimization of our HR processes. What you bring with you Completed commercial basic training or a comparable qualification. Further training in the area of payroll/wage accounting. Several years of professional experience in payroll (at least 3 years), with profound knowledge of Abacus mandatory. Experience with MyAbacus is a plus. Very good German skills in speaking and writing; further language skills are welcome. Exact, reliable, and discreet way of working as well as a high sense of responsibility. Strong flair for numbers and enjoyment of precise work. High service orientation and enjoyment of consulting various stakeholders. Motivation to question, optimize, and actively shape processes.
