Mechanical engineer specialized in welding (IWE / IWT) ------------------------------------------------------------------- Place of work: Sion Your mission: --------------- Within the mechanical unit, you participate in study, maintenance, and repair projects on hydroelectric structures and equipment in the fields of mechanical engineering and welding. In collaboration with other engineers and with our workshops based in Martigny, you provide your technical expertise to support specialized maintenance activities and the development of solutions adapted to the needs of operations. Your responsibilities: ---------------------- * Provide technical support to the maintenance managers of the various hydroelectric facilities * Develop and implement technical solutions as part of major rehabilitation projects for hydroelectric installations, in collaboration with the various technical units * Budget the work to be carried out, prepare offers, and provide technical support to sales * Manage projects in compliance with costs, deadlines, and quality requirements * Organize and coordinate the interventions of suppliers and internal teams (welders, inspectors), in collaboration with the maintenance managers of the various sites * Keep up to date the technical documentation of the facilities through study reports or end-of-work reports * Perform and supervise manufacturing monitoring as well as the reception of parts at suppliers and in our workshops * Participate in the coordination of welding activities in our Martigny workshops (DMOS/QMOS/QS) and at intervention sites * Analyze and verify the technical documentation of suppliers, notably welding notebooks Your skills: ------------------ * EPF or HES Engineer in mechanics (or equivalent) * IWE or IWT certification * At least 5 years of experience in industry; 3 years of experience in the hydroelectric field is an asset * Experience in the field of welding (development of DMOS, reviewing welding notebooks, design of mechanical-welded solutions, manufacturing monitoring and inspections) * Knowledge and/or certifications in the field of NDT (such as COFREND) are an asset * Great organizational capacity and ability to manage several projects or mandates simultaneously * Autonomy, analytical spirit, and ability to synthesize * Good writing skills (technical documentation) * French or German as a mother tongue, good knowledge of the other language is a plus * Taste for field work, with regular day trips to our various hydroelectric facilities (up to 30% of working time) We offer attractive working conditions and a pleasant atmosphere, supported by company values.
