Contract Manager / Contract Specialist (m/f/d)

What you can set in motion.

• You establish and manage infrastructure contracts based on existing templates, including connection track contracts, network connection contracts, or those related to structures. You coordinate their content with internal SBB partners and guarantee correct invoicing.
• You answer questions relating to infrastructure contracts within your area of responsibility and clarify technical, economic, or legal aspects with the competent internal specialist departments.
• As part of third-party construction projects near railway facilities, you examine the interests of SBB that must be subject to contractual protection and ensure their appropriate consideration.
• You prepare negotiations with cantons, municipalities, individuals, and other companies, and support internal partners during their conduct.
• Within the framework of SBB studies and projects, you analyze the necessary contractual measures, advise project management, and support the implementation of the required contracts.
• You participate in specialist groups dealing with cross-cutting topics, for example, the preparation and development of contractual bases and processes as well as principle questions relating to connection tracks. Furthermore, you provide substitution for your colleagues in case of absence and guarantee the continuity of the processing of ongoing business.

What you bring.

• You distinguish yourself by excellent communication and advisory skills as well as great writing proficiency in your relations with internal and external partners.
• Thanks to your analytical capacity and speed of understanding, you know how to apprehend and structure technical, economic, and legal questions and resolve them by calling upon the competent specialists. In addition, you demonstrate confidence, skill in negotiation, initiative, as well as a rigorous and reliable working method.
• You master the usual Microsoft Office applications and familiarize yourself quickly with new systems and processes.
• You have a commercial vocational training or comparable training as well as several years of experience. Experience in the railway sector, infrastructure, real estate, or contract management constitutes an advantage.
• You master French in a negotiation context, ideally at level C2, and have good knowledge of German. Italian is not essential, but constitutes an important asset.
• For a direct engagement as a contract specialist, you ideally have higher education or a degree from a higher school as well as solid experience in the autonomous handling of complex contractual, legal, or infrastructural questions.
