As Test Lead, you are an integral part of the software development teams working closely with software engineers, but also with the SQC community of practice (approximately 30 people worldwide), contributing to global change via community initiatives and putting your skills and experience at the service of other Test Leads while benefiting from their support as well as continuous learning and exchange.

ROLE

Within the team and the community:

• Ensure that software development teams apply the testing methodology (SOP)
• Collaborate with software development teams to guarantee the quality of the product and the solution at every stage of the development process.
• Continuously test the solution to detect bugs as early as possible
• Review product design documentation to ensure that the stated requirements are correct, unambiguous, and verifiable
• Define test plans, design test cases, execute, and create test reports to describe the evaluation, testing, and correction of the program
• Report bugs according to guidelines, ensure that the defect tracking system is always up to date
• Use quality and tracking tools to track work progress in Jira.
• Maintain effective communication with assigned projects and development teams
• Ensure that all automated tests integrate into the continuous integration and delivery processes.
• Skills in test automation (Java/Selenium or Playwright/Postman)
• Regularly monitor automation results and diagnose failures.
• Automate test cases and maintain automation up to date.

As project/product test lead:

• Define and maintain the test strategy
• Identify areas for improvement in testing processes and propose solutions to increase efficiency and quality
• Provide management with a valid and unambiguous status of the project from a quality perspective
• Analyze the time required and the impact on the project based on time estimation and test coverage
• Ensure that quality gates (unit tests, code quality, etc.) are implemented.

PROFILE

• Demonstrated experience in test automation (preferably with Java + Playwright or Selenium) and manual testing
• Experience with GIT.
• Experience with microservices testing
• Minimum 5 years in a solution quality assurance role
• Experience/knowledge in version management and release management is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, or information technology or equivalent training
• ISTQB certified
• Logical, precise, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Result-oriented, goal-oriented personality
• Ability to prioritize and work autonomously
• Coordination, communication, and reporting skills
• Autonomous, highly organized, and works well with all functional levels of the organization
• Proficiency in English
