Production Manager Mechanical Processing (all genders) 100% Accepting challenges: Your responsibilities Team leadership & development: You lead, empower, and develop the directly subordinate specialists and team leaders (incl. Specialist Leader Turning & Milling) as well as all employees in mechanical processing in a consistent and respectful manner. Production control & Shopfloor: Using daily, data-based shopfloor management, you control production based on key figures and continuously optimize throughput times, productivity, as well as adherence to deadlines and quality. Capacity & resource planning: In close coordination with order management and sales, you ensure realistic planning and demand the consistent use of the ERP system within the team. Process stability & quality: You bear operational responsibility for your budget, translate strategic goals into concrete measures, and ensure sustainable process stability as well as the reduction of scrap and rework. Future & technology: You actively participate in strategic investment and budget decisions, design specifications for new systems, and further develop our competencies in the areas of automation, digitalization, and tool and programming technology. Your recipe for success: The skills we are looking for Education: You have successfully completed a basic technical education (e.g., as a Polymechaniker EFZ). Further training related to the field of responsibility (e.g., Techniker TS/HF or Unternehmensprozess HF) is an advantage. Professional experience: You bring at least 5 years of professional experience in industrial production, including at least 2–3 years of demonstrable experience in an effective leadership role. Technological competence: You possess sound knowledge of various mechanical processing methods, the tool technologies used, as well as current production trends. Leadership personality: A true leader mindset distinguishes you. You lead with trust and respect, possess a healthy ability to assert yourself with the necessary tact, and live a clear role model function. As a team leader, you have experience in shopfloor management.
