Application Engineer / Technical Sales Engineer 80-100% (m/f)

Your field of activity

• Creation of offers and processing of orders in the area of components: dosing, mixing, crushing and pneumatic conveying.
• Technical clarifications with customers including support during tests in the Test Center
• Customer consulting
• Support of project management during order processing
• Project tracking in close cooperation with the field service employees
• Contract review
• Acquisition of new customers in cooperation with our field service
• Competitor monitoring and development of proposals for the further development of the product range
• Cooperation with our international subsidiaries on technical and commercial issues
• Participation in the further development and standardization of processes, sales documents and technical decision-making bases
• Documentation and structured transfer of technical knowledge within the organization

Your profile and your qualifications

• Engineer in process engineering or mechanical engineering FH/HF, Technical Clerk or comparable training with a technical background
• Several years of experience in technical sales, application engineering or in mechanical process engineering
• Business fluent German and English skills in spoken and written
• Very good MS Office and ERP knowledge
• Strong planning and organizational flair
• Structured, analytical and systematic way of working
• Open and communicative personality with a confident appearance towards customers and internal specialist departments
• Negotiation skills and ability to work in a team
• Experience in the technical design of process engineering components is an advantage
• Ability to analyze technical requirements in a structured manner and to develop customer-oriented and economic solutions
• Interest in the optimization and standardization of processes and ways of working
• Ability to systematically document and pass on technical knowledge
• High level of initiative as well as enjoyment in taking responsibility and actively driving topics forward
