The IV-Stelle Solothurn is a service company within the social insurance network with around 125 employees. With individual insurance benefits, we support people with health impairments in the Canton of Solothurn.
To strengthen our team, we are looking for you as a Pension Specialist (80 – 100 % workload).
Your tasks
You process the received applications, from checking the insurance requirements to the case closure.
You contact treating doctors, other insurances, and employers in order to obtain a complete picture of the health and professional situation of the affected person.
In exchange with internal specialists, you decide whether a claim to IV benefits exists. You draft and justify the pension decision.

Your profile
You have completed a commercial apprenticeship. Ideally, you have the social insurance specialist certificate or are willing to complete it.
Several years of work experience in a complex administrative activity.
You have a quick grasp and are able to recognize complex relationships and develop corresponding solutions.
You enjoy working independently and are ready to make decisions.
You have strong communication skills and are proficient in negotiation. Additionally, you enjoy writing clearly and understandably.
You deal constructively with different interests.
You are interested in legal and medical topics.
