For our geriatric psychiatric outpatient clinic, including Memory Clinic, at the locations Aarau and Windisch, we are looking for you as an Assistant Physician / Assistant Doctor 80\-100% starting 1\. January 2026 or by arrangement. As part of the Clinic for Consultative, Geriatric and Neuropsychiatry (Clinic Director Dr. med. ), the Center for Geriatric Psychiatry (Management Kristine Ewert, Dr. med. Wälder and ) fulfills a valuable mission for the mental health of older people and their relatives with its offerings. It has four specialized wards as well as two outpatient clinics with Memory Clinics at the locations Aarau and Windisch. In addition to consultation hours and counseling services for relatives, the outpatient sector includes the geriatric psychiatric consultative and liaison service for nursing homes. The center is an SIWF-recognized training facility for psychiatry and psychotherapy, geriatric psychiatry, consultative and liaison psychiatry, as well as general internal medicine. Profile You are in specialist medical training for psychiatry and psychotherapy Interest in the field of geriatric psychiatry, especially in the diagnosis and therapy of dementia diseases Clinical professional experience in geriatric psychiatry or in consultative and liaison services is an advantage Enjoyment of working in a multiprofessional and interdisciplinary team Very good German skills in speaking and writing Tasks You will take over, in a case-leading manner under senior physician supervision, outpatient geriatric psychiatric assessments and treatments in the outpatient clinic or the Memory Clinic Aarau or Windisch Carrying out consultative and liaison psychiatric assessments and treatments in the geriatric and nursing homes of the Canton of Aargau Participation in team meetings and diagnostic conferences Documentation and writing of reports Involvement and specialist consultation of relatives Close cooperation with private physicians, geriatric and nursing homes as well as with partner organizations Participation in the PDAG duty system Benefits Our employees are the heart of our company.
