Head of Finance and Member of the Executive Board

Introduction

For our client, a company in the logistics and transport sector, we are looking for an experienced individual as Head of Finance and Member of the Executive Board. In this role, you will take responsibility for the finance department and support the Executive Board with sound analyses, clear decision-making bases, and a good eye for the operational business. You can expect a key role with a lot of creative freedom, international exchange, and direct influence on the further development of the company.

Tasks

• Overall responsibility for financial planning, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
• Preparation and further development of monthly closings, key figures, and management evaluations
• Analysis of financial developments as well as derivation of concrete recommendations for action
• Sparring partner for the Executive Board and operational areas on business administration questions
• Further development of financial processes, structures, controls, and reporting foundations
• Cooperation with central finance positions within the corporate group
• Participation in strategic projects and active contribution to the further development of the company

Profile

• Training or studies in the field of finance, controlling, accounting, or business administration
• Several years of experience in a finance, controlling, or accounting function
• Very good understanding of numbers, connections, and operational business processes
• Experience in reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analyses
• Very good German skills and very good English skills
• Independent, structured, and solution-oriented way of working
• Communicative personality with a sense of responsibility and enjoyment of cross-departmental cooperation
• Leadership experience is an advantage, but more important is the willingness to take on responsibility and actively advance topics
