VS/ Succession of Management / Gradual entry from 2027

Do you wish to give a new dimension to your career and eventually take over the management of a recognized SME in Switzerland?

Our client is a Valais company specialized for more than 35 years in technical solutions related to water. Active in the fields of irrigation, pumping, filtration and hydraulic infrastructure, it accompanies its clients with tailor-made solutions and is today preparing its succession.

As part of a structured succession plan, we are looking for an entrepreneurial personality, passionate about technology and management, to progressively take over the management of the company.

Responsibilities

During the year 2027, you will be accompanied by the current director in order to familiarize yourself with the activities, teams, partners and clients of the company.

From January 2028, you will assume the general management of the company with the following responsibilities:

• Ensure the operational, financial and strategic management of the company
• Define and implement medium and long-term development orientations
• Supervise the design and implementation of technical solutions related to water management
• Advise clients and partners through a regular presence in the field
• Develop and consolidate relationships with suppliers, partners and clients throughout Switzerland
• Manage, support and unite a team of approximately 15 employees
• Actively participate in the growth and sustainability of the company

Profile

• Higher engineering education (agronomy, civil engineering, hydraulics, environment, sanitary engineering or equivalent)
• Significant experience in the fields of water, irrigation, agriculture or technical infrastructure
• Proven experience in team management and personnel development
• Solid organizational and economic skills
• Entrepreneurial flair and strong leadership capacity
• Excellent interpersonal skills and sense of customer service
• Fluent French and very good knowledge of German (minimum B2)
