You are familiar with the world of Datacenter and IT infrastructures and want to apply your technical know-how closer to the customer? In this role, you combine technology, consulting, and sales and, together with our customers, develop suitable solutions for their requirements. In doing so, you work closely with our Specialized Sales, Key Account Management as well as manufacturers and technology partners. You can expect a lot of creative freedom, direct customer contact, and an environment in which new technologies are explicitly welcome.

What awaits you

• Analyze technical customer requirements and translate them into suitable and economically sensible solutions together with Sales
• Develop technical concepts and solution designs regarding Datacenter and IT infrastructures
• Support Specialized Sales and Key Account Managers with technical questions and customer projects
• Accompany technical customer meetings, workshops, webinars, and presentations and convey complex topics in an understandable manner
• Participate in the creation and elaboration of technical offers
• Coordinate technical clarifications with manufacturers and technology partners
• Evaluate new technologies and assess their possible applications for our customers and our portfolio
• Recognize trends and innovations in the Datacenter and infrastructure environment at an early stage and share your knowledge with the relevant teams
• Continuously expand your technical know-how through further training and certifications

What you bring with you

• Practical professional experience in the ICT, Datacenter, or infrastructure environment
• Technical understanding and enjoyment in translating customer requirements into concrete solutions
• Experience in technical customer consulting, presales, or a comparable interface function is an advantage
• Experience as a System Engineer or in a comparable technical function is a plus
• Knowledge of manufacturers, technologies, and solutions in the Datacenter environment as well as experience in the distribution business are an advantage
• Confident and professional appearance in exchange with customers, manufacturers, and internal contact persons
• Analytical, structured, and solution-oriented way of working
• Very good German skills as well as good English skills for exchange in the professional environment
• Technical basic training or comparable qualification; further training and manufacturer certifications are an advantage
• Enthusiasm for new technologies as well as the motivation to continuously develop your expertise
• Readiness for occasional business trips of up to 10 %.
