Team Leader in High Voltage / Energy Storage (80%-100%)

Do you want to apply your expertise in the field of high voltage (- 50kV) and energy storage (e.g., BESS), help shape exciting projects related to energy infrastructure, and at the same time take responsibility for a team of electrical engineers, technicians, and electrical planners? What you will do

In this role, you will take over the technical and personnel leadership of a team in the subject areas of primary technology and rapidly accessible energy storage systems. Together with your team, you will work on demanding industrial projects such as renewals or new constructions of transformer and substations, storage power plants, and dynamic energy storage systems with very fast response readiness to stabilize the electricity market. The involvement of other specialist departments from Balser & Hofmann from industrial construction, fire protection, BSA etc. forms an important interface, which can be used by you as mandatory or additional support. For project execution, you develop sound technical solutions for our customers. In doing so, you actively contribute your experience, promote technical exchange, and support your employees in their further development.

You take responsibility in projects - from planning and design to successful implementation. In doing so, in addition to the technical requirements, you also keep deadlines, quality, and economic efficiency in view. As a personal contact person, you maintain close contact with our customers and project partners and actively participate in the acquisition of new projects.

What you bring with you

You have a completed degree in the field of electrical engineering, energy technology, or a comparable training and bring several years of professional experience in the field of high voltage and/or energy storage. Thanks to your previous activities, you have the necessary references from successfully completed projects.

In addition to technical issues, you are interested in economic contexts and enjoy taking on responsibility and developing solutions together with others. Leadership experience is not a must for this position. The decisive factor is that you enjoy working with people and are motivated to accompany and further develop a team technically and personally.

With your sense for customer needs and your confident appearance, you maintain professional customer contact. Very good oral and written German skills round off your profile.
