For Novasina AG, we are looking for an experienced, committed, and motivated leader as Head of Operations 100% starting immediately or by agreement.

Novasina AG has been developing, producing, and distributing precise sensors and measuring instruments for humidity, temperature, and differential pressure measurement, as well as solutions for determining water activity in development, production, and quality assurance for over 60 years.

Your tasks:

• Overall responsibility for the order-to-delivery process (Order Management, scheduling, production, purchasing, logistics and shipping)
• Direct disciplinary leadership of 13 employees with different workloads
• Ensuring product availability with a make-to-stock focus
• Leadership and further development of the entire operations team with 13 employees
• Establishment and further development of clear structures, roles, and processes
• Planning and controlling production including capacity and material planning
• Close integration of Order Management, planning, and production
• Responsibility for delivery performance and lead times
• Development and implementation of efficient and scalable processes
• Co-design of production concepts
• Building an integrated supply chain understanding across all functions
• Identification and implementation of optimization potential in the area of Operational Excellence
• Ensuring a functioning team dynamic across all areas
• Further development of employees as well as promotion of clear and constructive cooperation

Your profile:

• Several years of sound experience (at least 5-10 years) in a comparable operations role along the entire supply chain
• Knowledge of Operational Excellence, Lean, or Six Sigma is an advantage
• Strong understanding of make-to-stock and production planning
• Ability to combine strategic thinking with operational implementation
• Experience in building and optimizing processes
• Experience in developing production concepts for new products
• Assertive and clear communication
• Team-oriented, structured, and pragmatic personality
• Pronounced hands-on mentality, self-responsibility, and ownership
• Leadership personality who leads through the team, brings employees along, and implements changes together
