The Centre Prévention de l-Ale (CPAle) of the Fondation MalleyPrairie has the mission to offer support to adults, men or women, who have exercised violence within a couple. It offers individual and group consultations in order to find alternatives to violence.

As part of a new project, the CPAle is developing a program intended for minors who have committed acts of aggression or violence, referred by the Direction générale de l'enfance et de la jeunesse (DGEJ) or by cantonal judicial authorities.

For the development of this service, the CPAle is looking for:

Service for Minors committing violence (new service) ##

Main missions:

During the design phase (approximately 5 months):

• Contribute to the development of the concept
• Design and develop the pilot program under the supervision of the Sector Manager
• Develop contacts with the network

From the implementation of the pilot program:

• Guarantee the smooth daily functioning of the unit, by ensuring quality care for beneficiaries and optimal management of human and material resources
• Ensure the management of the unit's services
• Supervise the team of psychosocial workers (one person initially)
• Manage admissions and the clinical aspects of the unit
• Intervene directly with beneficiaries (individual and group follow-up)
• Participate in the development of the sector and in cross-functional projects
• Ensure contacts with the network

Profile sought:

• Recognized higher education in social work HES-SO or an equivalent title
• Certification in systemic intervention (CAS minimum or an equivalent title)
• Minimum 5 years of experience in social work, working with adolescents and their families
• Experience in team management, an asset
• Experience in the field of domestic violence
• Good planning, organization, and priority management skills
• Writing proficiency and administrative rigor
• Knowledge of the cantonal socio-educational network for the protection of minors
