Electronician/Production Technician - Wafer testing

Locality Neuchâtel Availability Immediately Type Permanent Reference 41365 Published on 11/07/2026 To support production and first-level maintenance activities, you will ensure the launch, monitoring, and troubleshooting of wafer tests in a demanding cleanroom environment. Permanent - 100% rate Shift hours 13H-21H from MO/FR or TU/SA (to be agreed). Job description ### • Execute wafer tests and, as needed, packaging, in accordance with the production schedule and quality requirements. • Handle wafers in the cleanroom in strict compliance with ESD rules and semiconductor standards. • Install, configure, and operate Probers, Loadboards, Probe Cards, test interfaces, and basic mechanical adjustments. • Launch new productions: startup of lots, loading of test programs, and product changes. • Monitor the progress of tests, yields, and performance to ensure production continuity. • Perform wafer mapping and ink operations, including associated adjustments. • Perform troubleshooting and first-level interventions on test equipment to limit downtime. • Ensure the operational interface between production and engineering during industrialization and validation phases. Profile ### • Technical training or proven experience in the field. • Experience in semiconductors, ideally in wafer testing, wafer sort, or backend testing. • Practice in wafer handling and the use of Probers, or high proficiency with automated equipment. • Good understanding of ESD requirements, cleanroom, and ASIC test environments. • Field-oriented profile, versatile, capable of troubleshooting machines and making simple decisions in production. • Rigor, method, autonomy, reliability, and good communication with Production and Engineering teams.
