To strengthen our team in Visp, Switzerland, we are currently looking for an Operator. As an Operator, you will support our production operations as a valuable member of a dedicated shift team. With your commitment, you ensure that our production plants run reliably, safely, and efficiently. You actively contribute to the strengthening of our safety culture, work flexibly in different areas of production, and help shape how we master challenges and continuously grow beyond ourselves. Main tasks and responsibility: Alternating activity in the control room as well as in the production plants of a multi-stage operating department. Monitoring, control, and analysis of process parameters in the control room as well as identifying and resolving malfunctions. Safe startup and shutdown of the production plants according to specifications. Flexible deployment in the assigned plants on-site, including support during changeovers and maintenance work. Independent execution and complete documentation of workflows and rounds according to specification documents. Working with Outlook, Excel, Word, SAP, as well as various process control systems. Qualifications and experience: High demand for a lived safety culture. Advantageous: Experience as an Operator in chemical production or service companies as well as in handling process control systems – career changers are expressly welcome. Willingness to work in the 4-shift system (early, late, night, and weekend shifts) as well as flexibility within the shift teams. Very good German language skills in speaking and writing for the secure application of work instructions, safety regulations, and internal systems. Willingness to learn new technologies and to continuously undergo further training. Independent, reliable, and committed way of working as well as team orientation and resilience. High awareness of safety and quality standards.
