Senior DevOps Software & Specification Engineer (w/m/d)

At PostFinance, we continue to operate and develop our requirements management platform Polarion ALM while simultaneously shaping the construction of a modern Specification-as-Code approach. We are a team in development and are looking for you as a Senior DevOps Software & Specification Engineer. You are technically savvy, an experienced developer with a DevOps mindset, who enjoys building toolchains and standards, managing requirements sustainably as code, and supporting the user teams in the transition towards modern ways of working. In this way, we can enable the user teams to promote their T-shaping, manage their artifacts as-code, and increase AI-readiness. In doing so, we create the foundation for end-to-end traceability from the requirement through to implementation and productive use, and make a significant contribution to accelerating software development at PostFinance.

What you can achieve

• You take responsibility for the operation, maintenance and further development of our requirements management platforms
• You operate our established requirements management tool Polarion and actively participate in shaping its continuous further development into a modern, future-oriented solution
• You shape the construction and implementation of a modern Requirements-as-Code solution with a Spec-Driven-Development approach.
• You develop and operate solutions, integrations and various automations end-to-end along the toolchain of the software delivery lifecycle
• You use CI/CD pipelines as well as AI-supported tools for development, analysis, testing and documentation
• You work closely with developers, business analysts, testers, architects, product owners and other stakeholders from the around 100 delivery teams of PostFinance

What you bring with you

• Higher education or further education in computer science (HF, FH, Uni/ETH) or comparable practical experience, with good German and English skills
• At least 5 years of experience as a software engineer, DevOps engineer or in a comparable technical role
• Experience in the operation and further development of business-critical applications and platforms
• Good knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, TypeScript, Angular, REST-APIs as well as CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with established enterprise landscapes, ideally with Polarion ALM, Groovy or comparable technologies
• High quality awareness, strong problem-solving competence as well as interest in modern engineering practices, AI tools and Specs-as-Code
