Senior Credit Officer

What you accomplish:

• You perform formal and material checks of credit applications and support client advisors in the granting of credits. In addition, you analyze credit applications in terms of risks and opportunities as well as the structuring of applications in close collaboration with the front-end units and various specialized departments
• You make credit decisions independently and prepare credit applications for higher decision-making bodies
• You enter the annual accounts of commercial clients and calculate ratings as well as debt capacities
• You manage and monitor credit portfolios with regard to guidelines, requirements and documentation
• You play an interdisciplinary bridge role and ensure continuous dialogue with the parties involved
• You actively contribute to process improvement and participate in projects

Here is how you succeed:

• You have completed banking apprenticeship (commerce) or studies in business economics (university, university of applied sciences, higher vocational school) with additional training in the field of Banking & Finance
• Ideally, you have proven experience in the field of credit and/or as a credit officer
• You possess excellent analytical skills to understand complex issues and develop structuring solutions
• You convince with a competent and engaging attitude, good communication skills with high social intelligence as well as responsible behavior
• You distinguish yourself through great autonomy, flexibility and team orientation
• You are a committed and resilient person, who willingly takes initiative, thinks entrepreneurially and always remains curious
• Good knowledge of the Finnova banking system or the willingness to familiarize yourself with it quickly is an advantage
