Service Engineer (m/f/d)

Introduction

For PackSys Global, a Swiss company and business unit of the Brückner Group, we are looking for a dedicated specialist for worldwide service assignments on innovative packaging solutions. The company develops and manufactures machines that set international standards in plastic processing. At the Haldenstein location, you will take over the electromechanical assembly, electrical wiring, as well as the professional installation and maintenance of state-of-the-art systems. The activity combines technical precision with international customer assignments and varied tasks in mechanical and plant engineering. You will work closely with customers, accompany test runs and factory acceptances, and support commissioning on site. The assignment takes place in a global environment with high personal responsibility, clear processes, and direct practical relevance.

Tasks

• You will take over the electromechanical assembly as well as the precise electrical wiring of high-tech systems in the plant.
• You will install and maintain machines professionally, working carefully and with technical exactness.
• You will accompany test runs and factory acceptances in close cooperation with customers and internal interfaces.
• You will commission systems worldwide at the customer's site and accompany them until final acceptance on site.
• You will train customer personnel and convey the safe handling of the systems in daily operation.
• You are prepared to spend around 50 percent of your working time abroad, in assignments of one to a maximum of five weeks.

Profile

• You have completed mechanical training, for example as a polymechanic, or a comparable qualification.
• Ideally, you bring electrotechnical knowledge and thus complement your technical profile.
• You work analytically, goal-oriented, and find suitable solutions even for complex technical tasks.
• You have a very good command of English in spoken and written form and communicate confidently in an international environment.
• You are characterized by customer orientation, sense of responsibility, and organizational skill.
• You see international travel as a welcome variety and professional challenge.
