To strengthen our team, we are filling a position as Technology Transfer Manager (w/m/d) with a focus on Life Sciences. About Unitectra Unitectra is the technology transfer office of the universities of Basel, Bern and Zürich. We evaluate around 150 inventions annually, file about 70 patents and negotiate over 1,000 research contracts and licenses with industry, spin-offs and academic partners. In doing so, we make an important contribution to the implementation of research results from the universities into marketable products and services. Your tasks You support researchers in the field of Life Sciences in collaborating with industry and in the commercial implementation of their research results. This includes in particular: Drafting, reviewing and negotiating research contracts with domestic and foreign partners Evaluation of inventions with regard to patentability and commercial potential Coordination of patent applications in cooperation with patent attorneys Support of the transfer and the economic exploitation of technologies Creation of license agreements and conducting negotiations until the contract is concluded Your profile You have a university degree in the field of Life Sciences, e.g. biology, biochemistry, pharmacy or medicine. You have several years of professional experience in the private sector in a customer-oriented role. Now you want to take the next developmental step.
